THE SOLE PURPOSE OF THE DRRC TENNIS COURTS IS TO PROMOTE THE PLAY OF TENNIS IN THE SPIRIT OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP.
Members:
1) can request one key per household.
2) are responsible for the security of the key & tennis courts & are not allowed to loan out their key.
a) Unattended children who damage the surface &/or property of the tennis court area will be responsible for the cost of repair.
b) If a key is loaned to another Member or Non Member and damage occurs to the surface &/or property of the tennis court area, the loaning Member will be responsible for repair and may lose their tennis privileges.
3) can secure one court at a time.
4) can bring Guests as long as they
a) live outside the DRRC Membership Area &
b) are accompanied by a DRRC Member at all times.
5) with playing children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an Adult.
6) must vacate a court after 1 & 1/2 hours if another Member is waiting to play.
All Players (Men, Women & Children) will take their turn on an equal basis except for the following Adult Priorities:
a) Adults have priority over Children under 16 during weekends, Holidays & after 6PM on weekdays.
The DRRC Board requests that these general rules be followed:
1) Last Member to leave the courts is responsible for securing the gate.
2) Clean up the area around the courts upon vacating.
3) Do not abuse the playing surface &/or nets.
4) Wear regulation tennis shoes.
5) Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, chairs & other such equipment are not allowed inside the courts.
6) The courts close at 10PM.
***The Board has the right to reserve the Courts for Corporation Tournaments or by request of a Member.
